Rotten American capitalism cannot even allow decent citizens to die a dignified death : the case of William Swanton, Cranston Housing Authority resident

I was about to use this Tuesday , May 31, 2022 Providence Journal newspaper to protect my kitchen floor from sink water. But the front page article : " Man's family told of his death , burial 46 days later. " . " Ex wife got a voice mail from [ Cranston ] Housing Authority ". " William Swanton died alone in his bed at a Cranston Public Housing Authority building on Jan. 1 but ..... " In general the management of these Housing Authority buildings are getting more and more negligent , callous , and incompetent. This man lived in MY BUILDING , Randall Manor : " William Swanton was only 57 when he died. The last years of his life had been challenging ". Article by Noble Brigham . I can suggest that a state social worker be assigned to each of these Housing Authority buildings in Rhode Island. So many residents here have nobody to look after them and many elderly cannot even take their own garbage out. Even getting to the doctor's office or shopping for groceries is a challenge. So rotten is the American capitalist system now that perfectly decent citizens are not even allowed to die a dignified death. This would have helped the poor William Swanton : The Providence Journal once published the DEATH NOTICE of ANYBODY who died in Rhode Island. 0:08 / 0:47
