Nor can it save the once solid middle class from economic FREE FALL vertigo . Way back in 1955 socialist humanist psychiatrist wrote " The Sane Society " which inspired this socialist way back in the Tumultuous Sixties. Sadly my dear long deceased friend Eddy M., way back in 1973 , predicted " a long period of rot ". Today it is much like that terrifying picture of ROTTING IN HELL -which , of course, as the sacred creed assures us, goes on forever with NO END for the end.
