I wonder if today's Chinese " communist " leaders ever read or re-read the Marxist classics : For example , the old Communist Manifesto openly appealed to the WORKERS OF THE WORLD . The classic communism of the late 19th century was evangelical somewhat like early Christianity in the Empire of Rome . Ordinary working class people do not plan wars or start wars . But the Russian Revolution of 1917 showed that they can end them. My point is that hardly anybody points out to the Chinese leaders that Chinese communism has been warped by Chinese nationalism . And a New Class of millionaires and billionaires in the post-Mao era is a mockery of the tenets of Marxism. It would be refreshing to this democratic socialist - certainly influenced by classic Marxism - to hear contemporary Chinese leaders quoting from Chairman Mao's " Little Red Book ". Is not SOCIALIST INTERNATIONALISM still the best way to avoid nuclear war which would even put an end to the famous DIALECTIC ? Has the CLASS STRUGGLE ended in China with complacent ZOMBIE proles and arrogant " communist " millionaires ?
