Any educator who thinks this is clueless about orthodox Marxist ideology . Ever since the 1848 publication of the Communist Manifesto Marxism has focused on the CLASS STRUGGLE and this now has nothing to do with DNC based " identity politics " . Real SOCIALISM is anathema in American education ( recall Marx saying that " the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class " -and everywhere it is this CAPITALIST ruling class that controls the education system ) .
In no way would orthodox Marxism maintain that the White working class is not exploited and oppressed , that " WHITE privilege " charms their everyday life. Marx's LABOR THEORY OF VALUE applies to ALL working class people. Just look around at the HOMELESS people in the USA - a very DIVERSE population. Indeed, poor WHITES are almost invisible in the main stream news media. I suspect truly PRIVILEGED Zionist Jews here prefer not to see so many poor White people. And yet have these rich " liberal " Zionist Jews endeared themselves to American Black people ? What did Malcolm X think about them ? Don't be shocked !
