Just days ago I received this letter from the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi at this address in Knightsville, Cranston : 75 Mathewson St. , Cranston , Rhode Island 02920 : On the front of the letter these words: " Ronald , someone had to stand up to the bully in the White House ". Why was I so rudely turned away on September 8? In this Corona Virus epidemic crisis it is not easy for many senior citizens to get around . Not easy to get official IDs. But I can easily verify my voting record and my present address -not changed at the Cranston Housing Authority in nine years. And I am a law abiding citizen all my life. I suspect the incumbents think that a low turn out favors them on election day. The PROVIDENCE JOURNAL should defend our voting rights - not be stupefied by ID bureaucracy.]
