Traditional Catholicism cannot be communicated by vulgar mass media
A bit of an old fashioned pre-Vatican II Catholic myself , " Relevant Radio " never fails to turn me off. True " other worldly " Catholicism does not fit in with the SHOW BUSINESS ethos . Does God love phonies ?
Everywhere today TRUTH is subordinate to IMAGE and the advertising industry.
We are daily being stupefied by CELEBRITY testimony . I think traditional Catholicism cannot be communicated by mass media culture . A little thing like SOUL is lost in translation.
Turn the radio off . Turn the TV off. Silence your not so smart phone. Take a walk in the woods . Meditate in a quiet church . Turn off the Satanic NOISE ! Reflect on poems like " The Vanity of Human Wishes " .
