One can only hope that the reporters and investigators of these lurid and revolting Catholic Church scandals can rise above crude Catholic Church bashing and New Atheism contempt for the ancient THEOLOGY of all the great faiths of humanity - including Islam.
To be sure, " Holy Mother Church " never failed to see the mark of the devil in its midst.
It does fascinate me to hear " old fashioned " Catholics explain that Vatican II compromised the Church with accursed " modernism ".
Did the Holy Spirit abandon the Catholic Church when it departed with the old Latin liturgy ? The " mystique of the Mass " ? Bring back " DOMINUS VOBISCUM " ?
Only a miracle can save this decadent -for years UNINSPIRED- religious institution. No way could any of these depraved priests have had a spark of FAITH left in them. They truly sold their souls to the devil . There are no saving exorcisms in Hell , I read.
When it comes to truly depraved crime , the FEAR OF GOD is a good feeling .
