There is no spirit of FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT in Academia. Too many fine individuals have lost their jobs over something said. " Something said " can be immediately countered by something else said. The only people who will want to suppress OPINIONS are people not very confident in their own . And they are ON THE RIGHT and ON THE LEFT. Nobody, no party has a monopoly on TRUTH or privileged access to FACTS. Only open debate can get at the truth ; for socialists open debate make possible effective political action. If your opinion is just wrong REALITY will soon correct you.
