Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

[ "New warning as deadly flesh-eating bacteria cases rise " ] All those nightmares of mine : " Sometimes They Come Back ! "
What mentally prepared my mind for the scary world of the 21st century were the horror-science fiction films of the 1950s and early 1960s : " The Day the World Ended ", " The Creature from the Black Lagoon " , " The Blob " , " The Fly " , " The Thing " , " The Amazing Colossal Man " , " X-the Unknown " , " The Curse of Frankenstein " , " Carnival of Souls " , " THEM " " Earth vs. Flying Saucers " , " Angry Red Plaaet ".
And how many pale blue blooded American plutocrats resemble some inner circle of " Count Dracula "- hell bent on establishing a " New World Order " ?
Later movies like Stephen King's " Carrie " : How many adolescent girls today can identify with Carrie ( conveniently " gifted " with telekinesis ) , with her smoldering rage on Prom Night ?
How many working class people spend their days in " Dark Satanic Mills " ? How many of the chronically homeless in " OUR democracy " have joined Jack London's " People of the Abyss " ?
During the Covid -19 pandemic I re-read Stephen King's " The Stand " and " The Plague " by Albert Camus .
But American president Donald Trump will assure you on national TV : " Nope , nothing wrong here ! " . Right, Cujo ?
All those nightmares of mine : " Sometimes They Come Back ! "
