How Intelligent People Should Deal with Stupid People — Schopenhauer’s P... [ How many of the MENSA-proud vote socialist - Isaac Asimov's negative view of MENSA ]
Only a petty bourgeois product of the capitalist " Culture of Narcissism " will see humanity divided into INTELLIGENT people and STUPID people. Stupid people-even if EVIL people - are not likely to find themselves at the top of the social order , in the RULING CLASS exploiting and oppressing the masses who are by no means stupid but are frequently benighted by the ruling class control of the public education system and the mainstream news media. Being GREEDY and NARCISSISTIC better explains THE RICH than MENSA level IQs .
How many of the MENSA- proud vote socialist ? More likely they are disciples of the militant atheist , belligerent ZIONIST Jew , right wing philosopher Ayn Rand , author of the Cult classic " The Virtue of Selfishness ".
As smart as they are, most capitalist politicians in our revered TWO PARTY SYSTEM cannot and will not think outside the box of capitalism , American imperialism , and Israeli Zionism.
NOTE : What high IQ popular science writer Isaac Asimov though of MENSA
[ Isaac Asimov, despite being a high-IQ author and a long-time, often reluctant member of Mensa, held a deeply negative view of the organization, largely because he believed it fostered unearned elitism, arrogance, and social antisocial behavior.
Although he served as an honorary vice president of Mensa, Asimov felt that the organization's focus on IQ scores was a poor substitute for genuine, constructive intelligence. Here are the primary reasons for his distate:
"Brain-Proud" Elitism: Asimov characterized many members as being "brain-proud and aggressive about their IQs". He felt that members often treated their high IQ as a trophy to boast about rather than a tool to be used for the benefit of humanity.
Lack of Genuine Intellect: Asimov observed that the type of intelligence that seeks out and runs a group like Mensa was "astronomically distant" from the type of productive, creative, and intellectual curiosity he valued. He noted that many members were simply good at taking IQ tests but lacked the ability to socialize properly.
Social Dysfunction: In a famous, scathing commentary, Asimov recounted attending a gathering and finding it to be one of the "weirdest social events" he had ever attended. He felt it was a place for people to indulge in unproductive "intellectual gamesmanship," argue over minutiae, and display poor manners.
Anti-Elitism & Democratic Values: Asimov believed in promoting education for all, famously arguing against the "cult of ignorance" in American society. He found the "aristocracy of the intellect" mentality of Mensa, which often looked down on those with lower scores, to be incompatible with his humanistic, democratic, and anti-elitist views.
Ultimately, Asimov felt that true intelligence should lead to a desire to learn, grow, and contribute, not just to a sense of superiority over others. ]
