When most sensitive, intelligent people in " OUR democracy " wake up in the morning and turn on the radio or TV news they get soul disturbing reports on the daily crimes against humanity of capitalism, American imperialism, and Israeli Zionism. FAITH in God is impervious to snarky New Atheism Cult criticism. The petty bourgeois intellectual thinks IDEAS can be rigidly categorized in his mind: " What does capitalism have to do with ATHEISM ? What does American imperialism have to do with ATHEISM ? What does ISRAELI ZIONISM have to do with ATHEISM ? As a longtime independent democratic socialist I think the NEW ATHEISM has a lot to do with reactionary politics, which includes the politics of the WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party. That is why they are so coy about answering my persistent question.
