everything wrong with new age spirituality. [ I agree that the " New Age Spirituality " is a joke ]

As a longtime independent democratic socialist ( and a pre-Vatican II type Old Catholic ) I agree that the " New Age Spirituality " is a joke. It is shaped by our capitalism conditioned " Culture of Narcissism ". Which even affects You Tube lectures by self-appointed " explainers " of some topic in Science , History , popular psychology, world politics. So many loud, affected, flamboyant, peddlers of PERSONALITY more than TRUTH & KNOWLEDGE, hugging their precious idiosyncrasy . I wonder : how many public school teachers think that their daily clown act is a must just to get the attention of their easily distracted class of restless, air- head adolescents ? The same for my local TV News ( channels 10, 12, 6 in Rhode Island ) . I want THE NEWS. But what I get is a minute by minute show of vacuous PERSONALITY and the annoying chit chat of the local CELEB reporters and weather forecasters . Along with the inevitable FALSE ADVERTISING SWINDLES ! It is VANITY FAIR on all fronts ! And it has corrupted SCIENCE !
