The Myth of Western Civilization EXPOSED [ Why I never jumped on the " HATE WESTERN CIVILIZATION " bandwagon ? ]

As a longtime independent democratic socialist I was never on the " HATE WESTERN CIVILIZATION " bandwagon. Never anywhere did CIVILIZATION progress as an unctuous, sanctimonious morality play. Apart from the well documented horror shows what we call WESTERN CIVILIZATION had much to recommend it . British philosopher Bertrand Russell , author of the now New Atheist cult book " Why I Am Not a Christian ", also wrote " The Wisdom of the West " and the " History of Western Philosophy " . And yet one book titled " Bertrand Russell's America " is a scathing SOCIALIST indictment of American foreign policy and its " capitalist way of life ". In general , a real SOCIALIST needs not an Ivy League education ( probably an obstacle to socialist belief ) but only a little something called EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE - a certain instinctive empathy for the exploited and oppressed in the world. To be sure, daily reading the New York Times will not get you HERE. Although it might endear you in ruling class circles . What newspapers do my New Atheist friends read ?
