In fact, in the bourgeois male psyche the rewards of " success " invariably include the attention of attractive females. COLLECTIVELY-not individually- the generic female is the most conservative force on the planet. On the level of the blue collar working stiff a common complaint : " My wife stopped loving me soon after I lost my job " or when " I failed to climb the ' ladder of success " . The classic SOCIALISM of a century ago put hot issues today like women's liberation, racism, homophobia , even old fashioned SNOBBERY in the context of the CLASS STRUGGLE of working people against the capitalist master class ( which just happens to include FEMALES and MALES ) . Classic socialism did not confront or attack organized religion unless THE FAITH had been warped into serving the interests of the capitalist class. There are numerous varieties of CHRISTIAN socialism - one of them was adopted by the martyred Black American civil rights leader Martin Luther King. I myself share this sort of CHRISTIAN socialism ( with no apologies to the WOKE Left ) . The WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party likes nothing better than having the electorate divided into self-absorbed, self-centered -indeed vintage " Culture of Narcissism " little " communities ".
