You Must Be This Tall: The Story of Rocky Point Park memories of the place
My older brother Rick and my younger brother Ray both worked in their Hope High School days at the Rocky Point Chowder Hall . And they did work hard there , coming home after midnight smelling of dried clam chowder and cigarette smoke. A song played on the car radio : " Come out to Rocky Point .. and have a day of fun ! " Sometimes Mom and Pop would pack all the kids in an unreliable car , take five kids , then seven kids , then all nine kids to the Rocky Point Chowder Hall for a summmer afternoon dinner treat . Later we enter the Amusement Park for various rides .
