How long can ordinary educated working class and middle class Americans be brainwashed into believing the nonsense that CAPITALISM is , in general, the only sane and moral ( ??? ) economic system possible in this imperfect world ? All thoughts for real justice in the world ( namely SOCIALISM ) are hopelessly utopian ? To be sure , in " OUR democracy " USA no Democrat or Republican, secure in his or her job, will dare think outside the box of CAPITALISM, AMERICAN IMPERIALISM, and ISRAELI ZIONISM. Do our public schools and system of higher education succeed so well in stifling the social imagination along with the social conscience ?
