@rodneypennington1086 6 months ago [The book is compelling reading and we see a modern day version in the actions of the rich American cities in demolishing the camps of the homeless as of this week. Just as cruel as London (the city) in 1902, which is actually not that long ago. In those days sleeping rough was cold, hungry and wet and we are seeing the same play out in Gaza as well. Humans find it difficult to share when all they have experienced is being well off or even incredibly rich! ]
