Do we really want to know about our ancestors ? Do YOU go back to an OLD FAMILY , indeed to a very OLD FAMILY ?
Spotting a dead rat in Cranston recently I was inspired to re-read H.P. Lovecraft's gruesome story " The Rats in the Walls " . Do we really want to know about our ancestors ? Did not Charles Darwin in the " Origin of the Species " overwhelm the scientific world with evidence that even WE humans - just " lower than the angels " ( ? ) - sprang from hideous beasts ?
