As a democratic socialist I know abortion is a complex and inherently controversial issue. From a purely Darwinian point of view : THERE IS NO RIGHT TO LIFE IN RAW NATURE . But we emerged from the monkey kingdom at least several million years ago. Not for nothing the human soul seeks TRANSCENDENCE .
Contempt for Christianity, for the world's BILLIONS of religious people is why various SOCIALIST movements have failed since that year 1917. The biggest mistake made by the leaders of the Russian Revolution was to make the country- Russia bone deep religious ( said Tolstoy and Dostoevsky ) -into an officially ATHEIST state.
SOCIALISM should abandon the sin of INTELLECTUAL PRIDE .
