A democratic socialist government would evict landlords not tenants . What makes the homeless problem impossible to solve under capitalism is sacrosanct LANDORD PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHT . The LAW invariably favors the capitalist owning class. Try to find a SOCIALIST minded judge in any American courtroom ! Try to find a SOCIALIST minded radio-talk show celebrity . Try to find a SOCIALIST editor or columnist or reporter in the Providence Journal.
As Karl Marx said long ago : " The ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class ". And yet today SOCIALISM is an idea in the air and on the air . Of course the mainstream news media will give it only negative reviews in contrast to FREEDOM - a state of things where the capitalists are secure and in charge . No , the Democrats are not about to give us SOCIALISM. Thank God , right ?]
