If there was a spark left of the free speech tradition in the United States no journalist - no college professor- would be instantly ruined over any HONEST opinion. Truth is not anti-Semitic nor racist nor sexist.
If more free thinking Jews, on the topic of Apartheid Israel ,spoke their minds, that alone would help counter any " revival " of anti-Semitism .
In his autobiographical book " Uncle Tungsten " the famous scientist Oliver Sacks described the local Zionists in his remembered neighborhood in England as " bullies ". They must be intimidating many anti-Zionist Jews today.
Of course Israel has a right to exist - but as a normal " democracy " . Imagine if President Trump declared the USA a WASP country to the applause of the Christian Right and a sardonic wink to the Native Americans ?
