China’s Atheism Makes it a Dangerous Partner
As a longtime independent democratic socialist I think the fatal flaw in most self described " Marxist " governments - like Stalin's Russia, Mao's China, Castro's Cuba - was / is not SOCIALISM. It was/is making their state a dreary , totalitarian " officially atheist " nightmare .
But do modern post-Mao China officials and bureaucrats even believe in the holy books of communism ? Still RED China has not been evangelical for years. I do recall crazed American Maoists in the " Tumultuous Sixties " waving that iconic " Little Red Book ".
Do the " communist " China elite still pretend that they are guided in domestic and world politics by historical materialism ? If not , how does Red China " nationalism " differ from German Nazism under Hitler or Italian fascism under Mussolini ? How is a vast class of Chinese millionaires consistent with pristine " communist " principles ?
For that matter is a MAGA AMERICAN REICH under patriotic" fuhrer " Donald Trump a morally superior picture of " OUR democracy " ?
NOTE : that in " OUR democracy " the WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party is as contemptuous of God & Faith as the New Atheist Cult roadshow ( even recalls the 30 year Stalin tyranny ).
Also note that the public voices of SCIENCE are becoming more God- hating authoritarian. And THEIR science is rapidly developing into the WOKE superstition of the " Church of the Big Bang "
