I really think that FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT are less dangerous to " OUR democracy " than certain malicious " misinformation " as judged by capitalist ruling class censors . A population with taught CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS is in no danger of succumbing to the BIG LIE . But our public schools prefer to teach CRITICAL RACE THEORY rather than CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS .

Of course , our venerable mainstream news media -led by the venerable New York Times - never misleads the American public. Like telling us about " weapons of mass destruction in Iraq " before the start of the greatest foreign policy blunder in American history : the invasion and occupation of Iraq -which has destabilized the Middle East to this day.

Facebook cracks down on disinformation, hacked accounts in Ukraine

Facebook took down dozens of fake accounts and pages spreading misinformation about the Russian-led military invasion in Ukraine, company executives said Sunday, while also taking measures to combat hacking efforts in the region.

Missing the old Providence, Rhode Island

MANY years ago downtown Providence was ALIVE with classic movie theaters. And lurid hotels-like the Gemini and the Pilgrim Inn - just reeking of dark, voluptuous SIN.

 

What I miss in the Kennedy Plaza area are old friendly, cheap restaurants for early hot coffee & ham & eggs & toast , breakfast. There used to be several of them a minute or two walk from the RIPTA bus terminal. Not much of drinker myself, I still miss those cozy little , unpretentious , Peggy Lee Song ( " Is That All There Is ? " ) friendly BARS in the same area. This Providence place is now desolate, blighted , and melancholy.

The Ukraine has been a " prize " catch for European imperialism for centuries now. How much respect did the British Empire have for SOVEREIGN people everywhere ?

Only the spirit of SOCIALIST INTERNATIONALISM can abolish nuclear weapons . Since when was the USA a pillar of SOVEREIGN nations on all continents ? Were ordinary working class people in the Ukraine - with deep Russian roots - languishing with a longing to join an already moribund NATO alliance ? Are American plutocrats so much nicer than Russian oligarchs ? A FOOLS WAR in the Ukraine !

Any honest scholar of American History will laugh at all these FALSE WORDS : How much FREEDOM have WE THE PEOPLE experienced under the Biden administration ? What more can BLACK LIVES MATTER want than a bloody war in the Ukraine ? Way back in 1965 Black Muslim Malcolm X made a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism .
