  " The New York Daily News, one of the city's two tabloid papers, is halving its editorial staff, the latest sign of trouble in the local news business.

The cuts will leave the newsroom with about 40 people, according to former employees.

They come less than a year after the paper was bought by Tronc, which has a reputation for low newsroom investment. "

Among the upper class SOCIAL PRESSURE is just as effective as economic terror for the working class. Rather than laugh at the legal scholar Alan Dershowitz complaining that he is being snubbed or ostracized by Martha's Vineyard circle of " friends " I felt somewhat sorry for him. I recall the excellent advice to American youth given by Isaac Deutscher
in his book " Marxism In Our Time " . He noted that middle class 60s youth had been radicalized on the left but he recalled when the middle class youth of Europe were turning to fascism. You MUST make contact with your working class, he warned.

   I wonder after the recent vote declaring Israel an Apartheid Jewish state if " liberal " Democrats still place Israel under the umbrella of " OUR democracy ".

         Why should Iran not have as many nuclear weapons as Zionist Apartheid Israel ?

         The mainstream news media's notion of the FREE WORLD -led by super-democratic USA is really insanely delusional. Working class kids will certainly not volunteer to fight to make the world safe for arrogant plutocrats in the United States or Israel.
