Whenever I ask some New Atheist fellow traveler how they apply their deified LOGIC & REASON to global capitalism , American imperialism , and Israeli Zionism I get a blank response as if the question was both obtuse and impertinent . " Official atheism " in practice ( along with a deranged application of Marxist theory ) gave the world more than 30 years of the Stalinist nightmare tyranny in Russia. Are organized atheists anywhere on the planet involved in DOING GOOD as was the Catholic saint Mother Teresa slandered by the drunken idol of the New Atheism , Christopher Hitchens , author of the cult's classic : " God Is Not Great - how religion poisons everything " ? For example , does the New Atheism Cult set up food kitchens anywhere like Catholic Charity ? Is their vision of a better world just fit for our capitalist " Culture of Narcissism " and their own smug , petty bourgeois conceit ?
