AI2027: Is this how AI might destroy humanity? - BBC World Service [ Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics ]

Rather than eliminate humans -as if global capitalism could dispense with both working class and consumers-advanced AI can only undermine the very foundation of the capitalist system of exploitation and oppression of humanity. One of the late great science fiction writers, Isaac Asimov , made it axiomatic in his Basic Laws for Robotics :robots must never harm human beings! NOTE : From GOOGLE search : [ " Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics are a set of rules for robots in his science fiction stories, designed to ensure their behavior is beneficial and harmless to humans. The laws are: 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm; 2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law; and 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. " ]
