JOBS in capitalist USA are secure for no working class person. The FOR PROFIT gods will lay you off on the very day they can no longer exploit you. Out of work on unemployment " security " , you must look for work but no capitalist employer is obliged to hire you unless there is immediate PROFIT in this. In " OUR democracy " there is absolutely no " democracy " in the work place. And watch it if you get ideas of joining or forming a union. If you express some creative ideas for improving the work place -or production itself - you will be marked as an insolent employee who does not know his place. The path to promotion in the company and to upward mobility is a vile readiness to betray and spy on your fellow workers. The less CLASS CONSCIOUS you are , the better ! If you think you were fired unjustly, don't expect much JUSTICE from the courts. The JUST JUDGES have been in the pockets of Corporate America from the very beginning of the nation. As the leftist American author , Gore Vidal , pointed out in numerous essays , the FOUNDING FATHERS and the CONSTITUTION were all about defending the wealthy class , defending their sacred PRIVATE PROPERTY rights. When they start a war anywhere on Earth THAT is what it will be all about : THEIR interests. Their LAW has been spitting on the face of the common man for more than 200 years now. Such " FREEDOM OF THE PRESS " that we have only serves THEIR economic , political , and social interests. Their colleges and universities offer " higher education " which only mass produces professional enemies of the working class. As Karl Marx said in a pithy statement : " The ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class ". Don't expect to hear SOCIALISM advertised on any commercial radio or TV talk show. Don't expect any " progressive " Democrat to even imagine or to whisper that there is something fundamentally rotten about THE SYSTEM ( the system of capitalism ) . But keep voting for the " lesser evil " Democrats to protect you from those wicked Republicans . Don't ever imagine forming your very own American Labor Party- which would function quite independently of the plutocracy . What can YOU, working class drudge, expect for the future ?
