Like the soon to be sainted TV Catholic preacher, Fulton J.Sheen, he could draw a big and enthusiastic crowd-up to 10,000 fans filling auditoriums.
But when Father John Corapi's secret very FEEL GOOD life- involving illicit sexual relationships with prostitutes and COCAINE- was discovered by his order, The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, Corapi's days of saintly celebrity were over. He soon left the priesthood under a very dark cloud. For a while he waged war on the leaders of the Church in his weird and sinister "Black Sheep Dog" blog.
Conservative Catholics were stunned and, of course, felt betrayed. Father Corapi had been ordained by the sainted Pope John Paul II.
