No war on Iran !

If mainstream news media reports - always deceitful - are true, President Trump was just talked out of an international war crime - a surprise bombing of Iran . Since Iran is still a puny threat to the security of the United States, the real democratic socialists of the world ( not based in the Democratic Party ) can surmise that Trump wanted to do a spectacular and horrendous favor for our oh-so-Democratic ally in the Middle East Zionist Apartheid Israel. I doubt if the militant Zionist clique in the oh-so progressive Democratic Party would strongly condemn Trump- still popular in Israel - for this definite war crime. An Iran without nuclear weapons would be a rational response to an Israel without nuclear weapons, to a United States without nuclear weapons . Clearly the United States has been devastated by the Corona virus pandemic - a national emergency . We can hardly cope with this national emergency : What " crackpot realism " ( to use American radical sociologist C. Wright Mills'phrase ) would advise ANY US president that nuclear war is winnable and limitable ? DEFUND THE AMERICAN MILITARY makes just as much sense in 2020 as DEFUND THE POLICE. Both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King were openly anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist at the end of their lives ( both suspiciously assassinated ) . They made a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism. My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I will show you a bloodsucker " " Does " socialist " Bernie Sanders , who supported that pillar of the Establishment , that friend of the military industrial complex , now President Elect Biden , appreciate the words of Malcolm X ?Does a portrait of Eugene V. Debs still hang on his Congressional wall like the portrait of " Dorian Gray " Bernie ?
