Most combat veterans come from working class backgrounds. Working people don't have to strain their powers of sympathy and empathy to " feel their pain ". I would want to see ALL of them in decent housing not to say a phony THANK YOU for "service " in foolish wars. A HOME is a basic human right . So nobody should have preferential treatment here. The soldiers fight for " capitalist " freedom -exactly what makes them homeless. PRIVATE PROPERTY right in this country prevails over human rights.
