Making this same point with variations on the theme that the " liberal "Democrats are promoting the " HATE RUSSIA New McCarthyism " has gotten me BANNED from the Brown [ University] Daily Herald Web Site and the ABC News Web Site ( along with suggestions that political correctness is not the last word in kindness and rationality ) . No particular post is cited as unacceptable. Here IDEAS and OPINIONS are being censored- not rudeness and incivility.
Also, any suggestion that DNC based " identity politics " is vicious and hateful gets me a public lecture and DISABLED posts from a Providence Journal editor (He even identifies himself here ) I have copies of all this stuff. Ironically a recent Providence Journal editorial was titled " Free Speech for All " . This editor-monitor was upset because I made a snappy reference to " bought and sold newspaper editors " among the just judges of " hate speech ".
This democratic socialist is at the " very bottom " of Trump's ( ??? ) deplorables ? And I am UNABLED to REPLY to these smears .
In exile Leon Trotsky wrote that " truth is an orphan " in this world. But not forever.
My experience with mainstream news " monitors " will be no surprise to old socialists whatever their stripes. The FREE SPEECH tradition in the USA is alive and well !
