     Do you know man who stole Cranston library donation jar?

  [ I just found out that the thief stole the donation jar from the Cranston AUBURN BRANCH LIBRARY near Cranston City Hall.]

Stealing a bottle of change from a public library is a lot like stealing from a church poor box. You can borrow " wisdom " in the form of books from a public library but you can't borrow " character ". At the Cranston Public Library maybe my overdue fines can make up for the lost funding. 

But my friend Dave and I have noticed -while driving around Cranston - seemingly excessive number of police cars racing with their brilliant red and blue mesmerizing lights and that intimidating siren cacophony . We wondered if THEY were going after seat belt violators or cigarette butt bums. Dave did run over an empty six pack beer case last night. 

Is there a CRIME WAVE IN CRANSTON ? Or does Mayor Fung - a Republican rival to Governor Gina Raimondo - favor POLICE STATE theatrics ? 

There is now a full time security guard - a pleasant woman - in the Cranston Public Library near Garden City. Just the other day it seemed like she just caught some " bum " viewing forbidden stuff ( porn ? ) on a library public computer. 

There is a digital photo of the library thief in action . I could not recognize him. A desperate drug addict or a frequent guest at Harrington Hall ? No excuse now that lucrative panhandling in the street cannot be banned in Cranston. 

Can't Mayor Fung find a less depressing issue on which to become the next Rhode Island governor. In Knightsville I voted for him - violating my socialist principles - simply because nobody in the neighborhood had anything bad to say about him . And also he gave us a spaghetti dinner at Randall Manor.

 Does Mayor Fung favor police state theatrics ?

The working class will select the " socialist vanguard " . No ?

I know very little about internal party politics . I do recall that James P. Cannon encourages -way back then - SWP members to guard their intellectual independence while being loyal to the interests of the working class.

The " sectarian " disputes I am aware of are hopelessly convoluted and annoyingly irrelevant to the everyday struggle of the working class.

To be sure , you can't assume that every activist socialist who disagrees with you on STRATEGY ( as opposed to principle ) is eating in fancy restaurants after cashing CIA , COINTELPRO checks.

How to wisely protest imperialist war abroad and the growing police state at home? We have a great precedent in mass protest actions against the Vietnam War in the late 60s and early 70s. All walks of life were invited to march peacefully under the slogan " BRING ALL THE TROOPS HOME NOW ".

 ( I was in one of them in Washington ,D.C estimated at just less than half a million ). At no time did the vast majority violate any of the standards of ordinary decency-like ultra-left flag burning, provoking the police, insulting veterans of the war.

        It did begin to look like the " great silent majority " , the true face of America, opposed the war, opposed all the crimes against humanity committed in their name, opposed Pentagon fascism.

         Just what does it mean when right wing " Red Eye Radio " in 2017 brands this Kaepernick a " Marxist " ? This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution . Kaepernick's humble protest against police brutality can generalize into militant CLASS consciousness.

The American ruling class fears that RACE consciousness- fury at police brutality - can generalize into militant CLASS consciousness.
