Obama as the number one cheer leader for cop hating in the country.
Democratic socialists reject this pernicious nonsense. The police violence is explained , in the final analysis , by the class structure of American capitalist society.
Any striking worker on a picket line - of any race or ethnic background- knows what the cops are all about. Any working class family evicted from their house or home knows what THE LAW is all about.
The president of the United States - no more than the Supreme Court- is above the class struggle. President Obama serves the American plutocracy- and that is incompatible with " cop hating ".
