Much maligned Obamacare was a step in the right direction - but just a
timid, compromised step. Here President Obama was abused and maligned
while desperately trying to compromise with Tea Party Republicans -still
inspired by Ayn Rand's " Virtue of Selfishness ".
But the compromise itself was tragic and , in fact, betrayed Senator Ted Kennedy's progressive vision of health care for all as a basic human right.
They could have just extended the Medicare system. And it should have included free dental care too. Why is dental health foolishly separated from general health ?
