No state constitution enshrines eternal wisdom

One purpose of public education seems to be to stupefy bright , curious, un-corrupted young minds with the dead weight of tradition, to oppress the living with the dead past.

No state constitution -written so long ago- can be assumed to transmit any divine or supra-human wisdom to the present..

Even the national Constitution mostly served the ruling class of the times. And this American Constitution did not enshrine the principles of Ayn Rand anymore than the principles of Karl Marx.

So WE THE LIVING can take a fresh look at sacrosanct private property and private wealth. We can - if we, the majority, wish- tax the wealthy to the point of truly creating a classless society.

Just for the record : real " democratic socialists " do not want just to harshly tax the rich - to punish their dubious " success ". They want to abolish the profit system as the guiding principle of the social order.
