THAT is the voice of the U.S. plutocracy- quite independent of Donald Trump's more extremist rhetoric. Is Trump any more sinister than Barry Goldwater seemed to be at the Cow Palace in 1964 ?
Goldwater scared most American voters and LBJ won by a landslide. But who did get us into the quagmire of Vietnam ? LIBERAL Lyndon. Who kept us there for more long and bloody years ? Tricky Dicky. Who ever called Nixon a " fascist " ?
The left should not over-vilify Donald Trump . It gives more credibility to the Wilsonian blather of the pro-war Democrats.
