Does the anti-war movement have any say in this presidential race ?

" Whatever happened to the peace movement ? "

"  The lack of peace protesting has been a fixture since the 2008 elections. Are younger people giving up on peace? Or are there so many other things going on that the activist community simply doesn’t have the energy to put anything else on their plate? "]

Does the anti-war movement have any say in this presidential race ? Did naive liberals think that there was no excuse for mass protest with Nobel Peace Prize winner, Barack Obama, in the White House and " more love and kindness " Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State ?

I don't expect my favorite Democrat Bernie Sanders to be " tough on Israel " but he is soft on the New Colonialism. Eugene V. Debs was a passionate opponent of U.S. imperialism. Read his famous Canton Speech.

Pacifist A.J. Muste's essay " Who Has the Spiritual Atom Bomb " is still relevant today.
