The nebulous nature of the ELECTRON CLOUD is the last refuge of
obfuscation in science. Individuals atoms are not mystical things. You
can arrange them to spell I-B-M. Were the laws of nature at work for
billions of years creating our universe ? Were they at work in the
evolution of life on the planet Earth ? The laws of nature are clearly
independent of any HUMAN mind.We do not IMAGINE that we just sent a very
successful space probe to the planet Pluto.
The Catholic Church made its peace with modern science long ago. Pope Francis now says it has no quarrel with Darwinian evolution or the Big Bang.But Francis clearly has a quarrel with global capitalism - and its destruction of the Good Earth .
But climate change deniers want to plant the seeds of doubt about OBJECTIVE REALITY.
