Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

Amazon LAYS OFF 14K Workers Citing AI, Bureaucratic BLOAT | RISING [ With AI destroying jobs a new Luddite War is smoldering ? ]
Karl Marx's rational explanation of the source of PROFIT in capitalist system is as valid as ever. But a basic law of physics says essentially the same thing : FROM NOTHING YOU GET NOTHING ! ( " conservation of energy " ) .
The genius Karl Marx is not around today to ponder the role of AI in capitalist economics. But is it not axiomatic that if an economic system does not need workers , it also does not need capitalists ? So in this 21st century, instead of their own workers being " the gravediggers of capitalism " , their own " INTELLIGENT " machines are the gravediggers of capitalism.
Do THEY think that some 7 billion working class persons all over the globe will meekly starve to death because THE MACHINES do not need them ? A new Luddite War is coming ?
Who were the Luddites ( GOOGLE search result )
[ "The Luddites were a group of 19th-century English textile workers who protested industrialization by destroying machinery they believed threatened their livelihoods, wages, and working conditions. In contrast to Marxist ideology, which generally views technological advancement as a path to economic and social progress, the Luddites opposed the implementation of new technology when it was used to exploit and degrade workers. The Luddites were not against progress itself, but rather the specific application of machinery that benefited factory owners at the expense of the working class. " ]
