The obesity epidemic in America really does seem hopeless. In Rhode Island in Kennedy Plaza, Providence where I catch my buses I can quickly observe the full horror of the obesity epidemic in the 21st century. Long before you are 300 pounds over weight you are ten pounds over weight. Is that not the best time to fight the war on fat? Exercise helps but only enough exercise yearly and for year after year. I read that an average weight male must walk at least 35 miles to see a possible weight loss of just one pound.A sad thought: a young woman who is already gross obese probably has the most effective form of birth control apart from saintly abstinence.
