I read this article from the perspective of 78 year old bachelor and a long time independent democratic socialist. Even reading the great literature of Western Civilization reinforces my belief that in general and wether or not the individual male and female are mature or immature Marriage & Family under the capitalist system is invariably a catastrophe for all involved.And it is the nature of capitalist alienation to mostly privatize misery.
