Russia responds to drone attack with fierce assault on Kharkiv, killing ...[ False war reporting never leaves more than a few dozen dead in Russia or in Ukraine ]

Is it not odd that reports of Russian " fierce assault " by air weapons on major Ukrainian cities or similar reports of Ukrainian " fierce assault " by air weapons on major Russian cities never leave more than a few dozen dead ? If these bombs were targeted on my Cranston or Providence , Rhode Island there would, in truth ,be THOUSANDS DEAD and INJURED. If this war reporting is taken seriously, is there any cogent reason why the Russian-Ukraine War cannot be an historical " Hundred Year War ? I suspect that neither Russia nor Ukraine nor the United States can assemble enough ground combat troops ( better known as " working class cannon fodder " ) to settle the conflict with an occupation force . As a longtime independent democratic socialist I have understood for years that " WAR IS A FUNCTION OF SOCIETY'S RULING CLASS ". Working class people do not start wars or plan wars but they can and do END them !
