The owners of vast private wealth see themselves as GOD and will have no strange gods ( like Jesus ) before them. The incurable narcissist in the capitalist Culture of Narcissism " hates the very idea of Almighty God whose WILL might imply a moral structure to the universe where " everything is not permitted " . So it is idiotic to think that a magician really pulled a rabbit out of a hat ? Is it a foolish FAITH that believes in " Christ Risen " ? But oh so " scientific " wisdom , that believes , that indeed asserts, that the whole universe came from literally nothing ? It would seem that a metaphysical property of NOTHINGNESS would be a property of PERSISTENCE - from NOTHINGNESS to SOMETHING is just too much of a bother, too much WORK ( in physics = to ENERGY ). These underemployed New Atheist scientist-evangelists should get back to doing SCIENCE . When was the last time astrophysicist Neil De Grasse Tyson looked through the latest high tech telescope on some institution's payroll ? Could he SEE the universe emerging from NOTHING ? If so , he can prepare his Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech . Despised FAITH might just have the last laugh !
