But I thought the name selection, Pope Leo XIV significant : Pope Leo XIII was reputed to be especially sympathetic toward the working class and the cause of social justice in the here and now. He did shape Catholic social philosophy to be more in tune with a growing socialist and Marxist " communist " movement back then. No mystery why " officially atheist " , " communist " Russia turned off millions of the world's Catholic population ( as the Marxist Left still does ) .
