As a longtime independent democratic socialist I intend to READ about this debate hours after it ends. The essence of the conflict between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is nothing more than an ideological brawl l within the American ruling class. You will never find a viable candidate in either party who can or will think outside the box of PRO- CAPITALISM, PRO MILITARISM , and PRO ZIONISM. For Donald Trump to see shades of Marxism in Kamala Harris is ridiculous. For Harris to imagine that Trump is enemy numero- uno of " OUR democracy " is also ridiculous. For years now the WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party has promoted the HATE RUSSIA, LOVE APARTHEID Israel ( for better or worse ) New McCarthyism . And it shows complete contempt for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. And in this country of some 200 MILLION Christians it has a sardonic attitude toward God and religion. To be sure , right-wing blowhard Donald Trump seems right out of central casting for a movie titled after the Sinclair Lewis novel: " It Can't Happen Here " . But I see the WOKE WARROR Democratic Party as closer to American fascism than Trump and and his working class " deplorables " misguided by endless betrayals of a now very undemocratic Democratic Party. It is also very obvious that the main stream news media supports Kamala Harris and routinely censors not hate speech but IDEAS & OPINIONS that disagree with its own political narrative. Do you wish to vote YES for nuclear World War III with POST-COMMUNIST Russia , Islamic Iran and " communist " North Korea ? Then vote for either Harris or Trump. But consider just staying home on Election Day and not corrupting your soul in support of " OUR democracy ".
