Cranston mayoral candidates criticize homeless order

The homeless crisis here in Rhode Island and in all other states of the United States is on collision course with capitalist-landlord PRIVATE PROPERTY rights. It would make sense simply to outlaw homelessness ( as a public and private health hazard ) but at the same time enforce strict TENANT FRIENDLY rent controls. And confiscate the property of negligent slum landlords. Also, outlaw gentrification of housing. If the more " respectable " landlords make a fuss over rent control , they can be WARNED that they will live rent free at the ACI- and for years .
