Sad to say but Memorial Day in " OUR democracy " mostly honors WAR not military veterans living , dead , or wounded ? Not a few homeless veterans in Rhode Island ? Given the state of the world and of " OUR democracy " , can any intelligent , sensitive American citizen get all worked up over military marching bands ? Hurrah for the next big war ? Hurrah for nuclear World War III with POST-COMMUNIST Russia ? With China, Iran, North Korea, even Cuba and Venezuela - countries whose leaders and political system do not live up to the high moral standards of Joe Biden & Son, of Donald Trump & Son in Law ? The high moral standards of the CIA, FBI, Deep State , Homeland Security , the Pentagon and the bloated military industrial complex in general ?
