It is rather ridiculous to think that some one individual - in this case Mark Zuckerberg - is THE OGRE of EVIL . These gargantuan social media operations seem to have a MIND and WILL of their own. The ideal for me, as a longtime independent democratic socialist, is maximum collective control over all modern technology , all Marxian defined " means of production " which , of course, includes these now vast means of communication. And ALL the natural resources of the planet. This is inconceivable without ending now sacrosanct PRIVATE PROPERTY rights. Gifted human beings like Mark Zuckerberg can be employed MANAGING them in the general interests of society. There will be no concentration camps for NON-CONFORMITY in a democratic socialist society. Finally THE SANE SOCIETY ( read Erich Fromm ) will have arrived .
