Is Chinese Communism getting preachy again ? To the MASSES ?
If Chinese communism is once again in a preachy mood ( recall Chairman Mao's " Little Red Book " ) for SCIENTIFIC socialism, does this involve recovering the view of Engels in the classic of the communist movement : " Socialism -Utopian and Scientific " ? The early communist movement directed by Marx and Engels was intended to be as evangelistic as early Christianity ( which also had a strong socialist streak ). Do the still entrenched Chinese Communist Party officials - who for decades now have blessed Chinese billionaires and millionaires - have a grandiose MESSAGE for the American working class , for workers of the whole world ? A message like the iconic : " WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE ! " Can that now overcome bourgeois nationalism - " My Country Right Or Wrong ! " ? Overcome American " exceptionalism " as the sun sets on the " American Century " ? Is not socialist internationalism more capable of co-ordinating nation state strategies to combat extreme climate change catastrophe ? Can global capitalism possibly rise above FOR PROFIT mania to deal with this cosmic threat to life on earth ?
