Could future Providence mayor Brett Smiley be the Woodrow Wilson type ?

As a democratic socialist I find it ironic that Brett Smiley is goated by Republican opponents as representing those ELITE people ( we socialists call them the American plutocracy . But democratic socialism is not about vilifying individuals for being so much wealthier than the rest of us. For more than a century democratic socialists have made the case that CAPITALISM as a SYSTEM is now collectively irrational and threat to human civilization and to LIFE ON EARTH. Find a " progressive " Democrat - not just a Smiley - willing to discuss the CRISIS of global capitalism in the 21st century ? Smiley does seem like a very bright young man . I wonder if he is ( not really flattering coming from the Left ) the Woodrow Wilson type ? Unorthodox ideas can penetrate young skulls with smart brains inside no matter what ELITE has nurtured them . Democratic leaders over 70 are a horror show in general .
